App page views
The app at app.fezu.dev counts each time it opens, in a browser or in the desktop app, with VCode's own analytics service. It sets no cookie and sends no ID, so it shows no consent banner.
Why you would use it
You want to know what the app sends about your visits, or you want it to send nothing.
How to use it
Nothing to turn on. To send nothing, turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. The desktop app has no setting for it.
What you see
Nothing. The count goes out in the background when the app opens.
Limits and known gaps
- Each count carries the page address without its query string or the part
after
#, your browser, your operating system and your device type. The desktop app shows up as the browser Electron. Your country, region and city come from your IP address; the service keeps them as daily counts and does not store the address. - Nothing about your tabs, your boxes or your account is sent.
- The opt-out on fezu.dev/privacy covers fezu.dev only, not the app.
- dev.app.fezu.dev and a box's own page send no counts.
